We have reported this pothole to Enfield Council about 6 times in the last 6 months. They have finally emailed and advised us to contact TFL direct.
The pothole was once again 'patched' just over 1 week ago (w/c 11th Jan 2021). Within 10 days the pothole has returned (please see attached picture taked 19/01/21 @ 11:10). The noise from both HGVs hitting the pothole, and the loose manhole cover are as loud as ever. At night, this is proving to be a NIGHTMARE for us... This pothole has been repaired at least 4 times in the last 3-4 months, and each time the repair lasts a matter of 1 - 2 weeks. The patch repairs are just not working.
Can a more sustainable and lasting repair not be done? Can this situation please be addressed as it is causing us so many issues with our sleeping? The noise of the rocking manhole cover and HGVs hitting the pothole are DRIVING US INSANE at night.
We really do appreciate that this is a difficult time, and we imagine that there must be many issues TFL are juggling at present, and we are very appreciative of everyone's hard work. However, I BEG that this situation can be addressed properly as soon as possible. Please can a proper and lasting repair be done?
I look forward to your replies and assistance.
