Traffic sensor doesn't detect bikes turning from Braganza Street

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 14:36, Sun 3 January 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2458846.

The traffic sensor which detects traffic turning out of Braganza Street into Kennington Park Road does not detect cyclists waiting in the cycle box. It also sometimes misses cars which are too far forward or too far back from the main stop line. As a cyclist it's very difficult to trigger a green light without other cars turning up.

  • This is a very unhelpful response. You acknowledge there's a fault, then investigate it, decide you can't fix it, and refer it back to the person who raised it to raise it again. Nothing has been resolved.
