I wish to report that no action has been taken on a broken manhole cover which I reported in November 2020 (your ref. FMS 2379883). The broken rectangular manhole cover is on the pavement outside Nos. 83/85 St Dunstan's Hill (A217), below the embankment carrying the southbound carriageway of the main road. (NB. This is about half way between the blocked-up junctions with Alberta Avenue & Westfield Rd.) I initially reported this matter to LB Sutton who put a yellow temporary cover over the manhole for safety reasons, but advised that the manhole was a TfL responsibility. Your e-mail of 9/12/20 advised that work on the manhole was scheduled to have been completed. I regret to advise you that one month later, the yellow temporary cover, sealed to the pavement by tar, is still there. It appears that the manhole cover is still not repaired. Please could you investigate and advise me asap. Thanks.
