Pedestrian signals are faulty
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 15:07, Friday 22 January 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2495509.
Over the past 3 weeks I have noticed that the north bound pedestrian signals have been changing to red shortly after the A316 (east bound) traffic signals have changed to green. There have been no pedestrians in the location to either activate the signals by either push button or remote censor. This is limiting the traffic flow for those turning left onto Hospital Bridge road and in some cases causing a tail back. Gas Main replacement works are due to commence on Monday 25th Jan'21 at the Hospital Bridge roundabout which will necessitate in the closure of one lane of the eastbound carriageway. These signals could unnecessary congestion on the roundabout.
