Wait light switches off before the lights change

Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 17:51, Friday 22 January 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2495972.

When the Wait button is pressed so that pedestrians can cross the road, the wait lights on the pedestrian crossing units illuminate as they are supposed to. They remain illuminated for up to 10 seconds then switch off, despite not having changed the traffic lights to red and the pedestrian lights to green men. I used the pedestrian unit closest to Colwood Gardens.
