Blocked drain causing flooding into property of 292 battersea park road sw11 3bt
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 09:56, Fri 29 January 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2508959.
This has been an ongoing issue since last year summer after some works were done. Currently now, there is a huge puddle on the road and pedestrians have been drenched in water because of this issue. This has also caused water to leak into the office and needs to be looked into ASAP.
This was fixed in 2020 but actually the fix has made the problem worse for us. When it rains the water has nowhere to go and so pools in the road right outside our door as you can see from the picture above, as this is a bus lane, the minute the bus drives through we have water streaming into and under our front door. We need a drain in the road so that the water can escape and not come through our front door. It will also stop pedestrians being soaked as they walk past our door.

When it is not raining there is no problem, you need to come and see the damage being done to our property when it is raining and there is standing water in the road. Looking at it in the dry does not show you what happens. I have many videos and pictures but can't upload them.
