Rocking manhole cover

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2523907.

The manhole cover is loose and rocking and this is the 2nd time in the last 6 months that this has happened. It causes a very loud clanking noise constantly during the day and at night when vehicles drive over it. This is particularly disturbing at night as it disturbs our sleep constantly.

  • Please have look into this issue, the noise is quite considerable, especially at night. I have looked at this manhole on the street and there appears to be a road damage around it and it seems to make the manhole sink in every time of the vehicle is passing by, resulting in this horrible clanking noise. Please investigate this, as this becomes increasingly bothersome...
