Redundant cycle traffic signals and need for signing

The new cycle works at the north end of Kew Bridge are welcome, but there are now two parallel crossings for cyclists travelling from Strand-on-the-Green/Wellesley Road to the A315 Kew Bridge Road. The northern one is suitable for cyclists but the southern one is suited only to pedestrians because of the dogleg on the central island. The cycle lights need to be removed from the southern crossing, and suitable signage provided to tell cyclists to use the northern crossing which has been specifically provided for cyclists. It is far from obvious to cyclists arriving from Strand on the Green how they should cross the northern approach to Kew Bridge.
