One manhole cover on Upper Richmond Rd is rocking
Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 10:47, Fri 12 February 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2541662.
The last manhole cover driving from Richmond to Sheen town centre direction is rocking and makes sufficient noise to keep people awake at night as cars constantly go over it. This has been repaired last year but is a major issue again from noise pollution aspect.

As you can see the road has been ‘repaired’. However your engineers have now covered up the manhole cover and Thames Water will need access next week. The whole road between Clifford Avenue and Sheen Lane is in an appalling state and has not been resurfaced for nearly 10 years. My property and others adjacent are suffering damage from the constant vibrations from the heavy goods vehicles going over the dips and bumps in the road. Resurfacing needs to be done immediately to preserve everyone’s safety. Fiona Andrews 07947 688253
