Works vehicles parked dangerously blocking drivers view at junction

Reported via desktop in the Roadworks category anonymously at 15:03, Wed 17 February 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2552563.

Cars coming off Kew Green (a very busy junction as it leads from the Kew Gardens Cark Park) onto the South Circular cannot see traffic coming northwards on the South Circular without pulling into the middle of the road. The contractors vehicles are parked south of this junction on the South Circular (on a red route). Assuming they have permission they could easily park on the side road on eastern side of the green on the double yellow lines where they would not block driver's visibility or create a danger.

  • The vans were still parked there this afternoon. So when you say this has been resolved does this mean you believe it is OK or that you have asked the contractors to park off the main highway? If the latter is the case they have returned to parking in the highway again!!
