This "solution" has merely swapped one problem for another. The cover does not make (as much) noise anymore but the bumps created by the blacktop patches and the depression in the road in that area create another problem. Lorries traveling over it create vibrations that shake our house. The amount of shaking has gotten worse over the last few weeks and is very concerning. This is especially bad at night when vehicles go at speed and our bedroom shakes. It's so bad that some cornice work is coming loose.
