Manhole Cover temporary repair failed,
Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 17:26, Mon 22 February 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2564874.
In the southbound carriageway of the A1 Falloden Way outside number 163 there is a metal Manhole frame and cover which is sunken i.e not flush with the road surface. Consequently every time a Bus or Lorry runs over it day or night there is a vibration sent through my property which is causing damage, not to mention the noise created. Please have it removed or made entirely flush with the road surface. A temporary repair was effected last year which has now failed. Last years repair did not address the fact that the manhole cover and frame is not FLUSH with the existing road surface, please have this addressed or have the item removed completely, Thank You.

Dear Sir or Madam,
When are we going to see some action taken about this complaint which has now been outstanding for almost a year and has been an issues for many years. The problem needs to be resolved permanently either by removing the Manhole Cover, (to my knowledge it has not been used once in the past 43 years) or re-siting it out of the tracks of any vehicle with a 4x2 or greater axle e.g. Tipper Truck, London Bus, Fixed or Articulated Lorry, not only is this property being damaged by the incessant shocks and vibration the neighbourhood has to suffer the constant Tyre noise generated by every type of vehicle using the road day and night.
Your unimpressed

I can only assume your organisation has absolutely no intention of fixing this problem that has been reported time and time again.

A car has been dumped in the middle of the road. It is blocking someone’s drive. They have a hospital appointment. The car has no steering wheel, window and the tyres are flat. It is a health and safety risk as emergency vehicles wouldn’t be able to get passed. HELP no one will remove it. It’s been there for two days.

What has this dumped car to do with this ongoing original complaint about your organisation reluctance to address this issue ???????????
