Sensor not working properly

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2566686.
The traffic sensor on the light for traffic flowing from Trinity Square into Byward Street is faulty. Unless a car moves forward into the cycle box it is not triggered and the light stays red. This is causing back up of traffic and irate drivers further in queue sounding horns at all hours of day and night. As a local resident this is extremely annoying.
Your report has been investigated and we can confirm that there is a fault with these traffic lights.
