Uneven roadway

There seems to be an issue with the road around the manhole cover in the picture. Every time a bus, truck or lorry drives over this stretch of road it crashes and bumps around. This can be felt on the pavement and inside the house. Please can you look at a long term fix for this? It seems like the road needs to be flattened out or resurfaced
