Cyclists on the south bank walkway and other areas

Reported via desktop in the Streetspace Feedback category anonymously at 18:55, Tue 2 March 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2581589.

You have been a great champion of cycling in London creating cycle lanes all over the city however you seem incapable of making any attempt to enforce the rules when cyclists use the pedestrian walkways on the South Bank including the Millenium Bridge. I am becoming increasingly concerned about this problem as this is where I take my daily exercise and have nearly been knocked over on several occasions, As I am over seventy I am sure you appreciate an accident such as this would seriously impair my mobility and would but yet another burden on the hard pressed NHS and the social services. Families also use the walkways and the children enjoy a good run about cyclists create a problem for them to. Any signage requesting that the cyclist refrain from riding their bikes is so small as to be useless. I will be sending a copy of this to the leaders of Lambeth and Southwark councils.
