Dangerous kerb corner at junc. York Rd and York Place
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 17:49, Tue 2 March 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2582850.
A gradient has been introduced on this kerb at the junction of York Road and York Place, but it is a botched job, as the slope is too short and too steep. I very nearly tipped backwards in my wheelchair today because of the sudden steepness of the gradient. If I had tipped back fully, I could have sustained serious head injuries. If I suffer an accident here in future I WILL sue TfL. Please introduce safe, standard and appropriate kerb drops at the junction, along with the standard obligatory tactile paving as well.
