Defective paving
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 11:47, Mon 8 March 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2594288.
My shop address is 45 South Lambeth Road, SW8 1RH. Ever since TFL took the responsibility for the pavement outside my shop, we have had nothing but massive problems. Since you decided to replace the pavement and add 3 bike racks, pedestrians trip over paving that has sunk, and when it rains the pavement becomes like a swimming pool. You will notice the nighttime photo, a pedestrian having to walk in the road to avoid the massive puddle and bicycle which during the day children have to do the same. you have repaired the pavement many times and they have failed and I believe it's time you remove all the pavement and start again and move separate the bike racks further along.
