Pedestrian lights removed

Reported via desktop in the All out category anonymously at 14:22, Fri 26 March 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2635492.

There are temporary traffic lights in place at the crossing of Brixton Hill by holmewood road. The temporary lights do not have any pedestrian crossing. I have seen several families with small children having to run across this busy road.

  • I know lots of school children use this crossing. How can you take away the lights without putting in a temporary crossing (an accident waiting to happen). I hope also that you update these lights with a countdown one that allows pedestrians enough time to cross, as currently the Amber lights begin to flash as you as still crossing the road and so cars begin to go before you have made it across (very dangerous). Thank you
