Defective signing on Streatham One-way system
Reported via desktop in the Worn out road markings category anonymously at 17:11, Sun 4 April 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2652459.
Two signing rather than road marking defects in the Streatham one-way system. On Tooting Bec Gardens, the road has three lanes, the left being buses only, approaching the 'get in lane' sign which shows the centre lane as for A23 South. Only after that sign does the parking lane on the right become a new running lane, which changes how that sign should be interpreted. The current sign is dangerously misleading, and needs to show a bus lane on the left. Please correct it. Second problem is on Gleneagle Road southbound, where there is no signing or clear road marking indicating that the main primary route to A214 north turns right into Ambleside Avenue. There has to be a green direction sign at this obscure turn, otherwise through traffic continues in error on to the residential continuation of Gleneagle Road
