Pedestrian crossing far too loud

The pedestrian crossing across Hermitage road on the corner of Hermitage Road and Green Lanes and also across Green Lanes (on the corner of property 378 Green Lanes, N4 1DA) is far too loud and keeps my household up at night, and during the day as some are shiftworkers sleeping and also causes interruptions all day long as it is so loud. It is a constant irritant during both the day and at night and is loudly audible inside our property.

Other residents have also made me aware of this issue. This is a residential area and it is an annoyance for many and the loud sound is unnecessary - there are many silent crossings in London can this please be adjusted to be a silent crossing so as not to disrupt residents?

It's getting to the point now that the constant sound is intolerable and causing mentally damaging interruptions to sleep and rest

Please can this be addressed as soon as possible?
