Pedestrian lights still not working - DANGEROUS
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 08:58, Wed 21 April 2021
Sent to TfL 3 weeks, 5 days, 1 hour, 18 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS2682928.
Despite previous complaints, the pedestrian light when crossing St John's Hill from St John's Road is STILL NOT WORKING. This has been the case for AT LEAST TWO MONTHS CONTINUOUSLY AND NO ONE IS TAKING ANY NOTICE OF THESE REPORTS!!! Very dangerous as UNACCOMPANIED SCHOOL CHILDREN USE THIS CROSSING ON A DAILY BASIS. Please ensure this is now dealt with as a matter of the utmost priority.

Despite my various reports and lengthy conversation about it with TFL staff, this pedestrian light has still not been fixed. It has been out of order for months now, and no one is doing anything about it. Short of sending you a picture of the problem every day - I am not sure what I more I can do... Why am I being ignored????? This is dangerous and my children have to contend with this hazardous crossing every school day.

Thank you for your response - but I am not sure why you consider it appropriate not to give this greater priority than "aim to fix within 28 days", particularly given how long this problem (and my reports about it) have been ignored. My children use this crossing unaccompanied every school day, and I think they are entitled to expect that it be made safe without any further delay.

These pedestrian lights have still not been fixed. They have not worked for months. If someone gets injured at this crossing they / their family will obviously be able to use the evidence of these repeated and unaddressed complaints to support their claim - and yet there has been no attempt, so far as I can see, to investigate or fix this problem. Please update me now on: 1) what (if any) steps have been taken on the ground to investigate my complaints; 2) what (if any) steps have been taken to fix these pedestrian lights; 3) what (if any) follow up there has been in relation to 1) and 2) from those with supervisory authority.
