Traffic lights are dangerous
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 17:19, Thu 22 April 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2686190.
I am writing regarding the lights on Shaftesbury Avenue as I think they are very dangerous for pedestrians. There are 2 sets of lights, one for turning left and one for straight ahead/turn right. The way the lights are positioned if you are walking towards lower road means you cannot see them properly to make out if it is safe to cross and as there is a delay with the left turn changing first you could be half way into the road and nearly get run. see below view from streetmap to get better idea of what it's like https://www.google.com/ maps/ @51.5691101,-0.3475139,3a,75y,90t/ data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1scCTLStji9RTyQLvxJUkoWw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?ucbcb=1
