Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2687003.
The pedestrian crossing is dangerous as you are required to cross halfway and wait in the center for the other direction of traffic to stop. When the middle is crowded children especially are compromised as it could be very easy for someone to bump or fall into the traffic. The traffic is busy and fast. Many people going over 30miles. The pedestrian lights should stay green for longer and allow the crossing of the whole road in one go. Traffic should be slowed as this is a main thoroughfare from Morden to Morden hall park. Today my daughter nearly fell under a lorry because someone nudged her while holding her bike in the middle pedestrian island. Someone will die if this is not resolved and this should be taken with appropriate urgency.
