Incorrectly positioned traffic lights
Reported via desktop in the Damage - pole leaning / equipment detached from pole/facing the wrong direction category anonymously at 12:11, Wed 28 April 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2695960.
The traffic lights for traffic travelling north on the Finchley Road are visible to traffic travelling north on the Finchley Road towards College Crescent – by the Swiss Cottage pub.
I today witnessed a potentially dangerous accident when a car travelling to College Crescent drove forward when he saw the green lights for Finchley Road northbound and almost collided with Southbound traffic on Finchley Road.
The traffic lights for Finchley Road northbound should be suitably concealed from traffic travelling to College Crescent.
These lights have been incorrectly positioned since the recent temporary traffic lights at Swiss Cottage.
I hope this can be fixed quickly as there could be a nasty accident.
