Cover broke when my child stood on it. Fell down hole and damaged his leg.
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2698373.
Manhole directly next to Dorset Road bus stop (towards Kennington) in middle of pavement. My child stepped on it after getting off the bus. It completely broke and he fell down the hole injuring his right leg.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within one hour. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
