Pothole on main road - located on the ‘P’ of a painted KEEP CLEAR road marking

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (minor) category anonymously at 18:46, Wed 5 May 2021

Sent to TfL 5 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS2708781.

Pothole has happened before a number of times. Some sort of covering/ concrete defect in the middle of a busy road. Dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians as it is a busy throughfair and also obviously for cars and lorries on a very busy A road. It is on a red route and Wandsworth Council have referred me to you. As mentioned above - it is on the ‘P’ of the painted Keep Clear road marking and is causing a lot of noise also for local residents as cars drive over it, it has got progressively worse on a weekly basis.

State changed to: not TfL’s responsibility

  • Hi. Why isn’t this TFL’s responsibility? Exactly the same thing happened last summer and you took responsibility for it then and repaired it? It is exactly the same spot where the issue happened and I reported it last year. When is it going to be resolved as it is a hazard and is causing excessive noise as lorries and vans hit it.
