  • I was one of the cyclists who ended up in A&E yesterday morning. Lots of cuts and bruises but luckily no concussion or broken bones. I left my bike at the bike shop down the road yesterday and when i picked it up this afternoon there as still not sings to warn cyclists!!!!! Please close off the bike lane all the way to the traffic lights or put a ramp or some to let cyclists safely rejoin the bike lane.

  • I did the same this morning at about 6.45, as I turned back into the cycle lane after the roadworks. You need to shut the whole length of the cycle lane to prevent further accidents. Thanks to the concerned cyclists and runner who stopped to see how I was.

  • Having contacted the customer services team as suiggested, I later tried to call the phone number as I consider this to be worthy of immediate action to prevent more cyclists being injured. Having waited in the queue, the phone call went to an answer phone and then cut off. Resorting to Twitter, I did get a response which i have included here referring the matter back to the Streetcare team. The conclusion is that no one at TfL gives a damn...............

  • I managed to speak to them yesterday. I was assured it had been escalated. I was also asked to supply the pictures I had from the area causing the accidents. Waiting to hear back from them now...
