Noisy manhole cover

Every time a car goes by, the manhole makes such a loud clanging noise. This happens every few seconds but is hard to predict when it will happen - as a result, I am starting to feel anxious and cannot sleep at night. At first, it did not make that noise. Slowly but surely it started getting louder in the last 2 months. Right now it is the loudest it has ever been. I think the concrete around the manhole cover is starting to wear away, which means it is not holding it in place properly
Hi I understand that people don't want to where masks in public transport but I am in 259 more than half don't where mask I take the bus from seven sister to Edmondon at 18:52 .

Hi, I want to say that everything the original reporter said is entirely true. The manhole cover is making a very loud noise pretty much non-stop, and while this might sound trivial, I can assure you it's far from trivial to the people who live nearby. I can agree with the original reporter's statement about the effect of this endless, unendurable noise. It's making a serious negative impact on our quality of life, and I would say that it is now a genuine health and safety issue, which really should be dealt with as a matter of urgency. Given that that's the case, I'm very concerned that the original report has now been outstanding for over two weeks. Please, please do everything you can to get this problem solved. I am not exaggerating when I say this is about protecting the mental health of everyone in earshot of this.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
