Traffic Lights Synched Incorrectly

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category by Jerry Whyte at 17:16, Mon 24 May 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2746470.

There is a safety critical problem with the traffic lights at the junction of Anchor & Hope Lane and Woolwich Road, heading East towards Woolwich. The postcode is SE7 7AH

The problem lies with the one for the Cycle Lane (on the left) and the one on the right (on a traffic island). It causes a heightened risk of collision.

The problem seems to be that the lights are alternating but should be in sequence. A green light for bikes heading straight ahead shows at the same time as red light for cars turning right into Woolwich.

  • The lights are not working are are stuck on red so everyone was having to use right of way to leave the junction including me. Please fix soon. Thanks, mark
