Reporting: Defective Manhole/Inspec Cover

Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 12:23, Thu 3 June 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2765952.

Reporting: Defective Manhole/Inspec Cover Reported to Haringey: 01/06/2021 13:21:00 Street/Site: Seven Sisters Road Nearest Property Location: 691 Seven Sisters Road, Seven Sisters, N15 5LA Additional Information: There is a manhole cover on Seven Sisters Road, between Suffield and Westerfield Road, which is damaged in such a way that, when cars or other vehicles pass over it, it makes a very loud rattling noise. It's been a bit of a problem for a while, but it's getting worse and worse, and now, with the hotter weather meaning that it's getting quite uncomfortable for us to keep our windows closed, it's becoming a serious noise nuisance. I would like to say to anyone reading this: if you think that a rattling manhole cover isn't urgent, and that it would be appropriate to mark this report as low priority, you should try living in one of the flats which are close to that manhole cover. It never stops, it drives us mad during the day and makes it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. Please get someone out here to fix it as soon as possible.
