Pedestrian Lights Still not working
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 13:06, Tue 15 June 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2793455.
DANGEROUS - GREEN/RED MAN LIGHTS NOT WORKING A BUSY PEDESTRIAN CROSSING NEAR CLAPHAM JUNCTION STATION- I have been reporting this since March 2021, and have been consistently ignored. I had another dismissive message today telling me it had been fixed, but this is a lie, as can be seen from the attached photo. MY CHILDREN CROSS HERE UNACCOMPANIED EVERY SCHOOL DAY AND NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING TO MAKE THIS JUNCTION SAFE, DESPITE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS (HERE AND BY PHONE) AND PHOTOS (SEE TFL REF: FMS2682928).
Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we can confirm that there is a fault with the pedestrian wait button. We have therefore referred this to our contractors and it will be fixed within 28 days. Should you need anything else or have any questions, you may wish to contact our customer services team on 0343 222 1234
Please also be aware that, all Action Scheduled reports are automatically closed after 28 days. However, the fault will be fixed within this timescale, which may be sooner, or in a few cases take a little longer
