Beeping every seconds

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 10:19, Friday 18 June 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2800646.

I live close to this set of lights and as of this they keep going off every 30 seconds or so, which is very disturbing.

Please fix ASAP!!

  • Pedestrian crossing constantly beeping due to the rain and changing lights to red. Happening every 10 seconds and is stopping traffic going green amber red, green amber red. The traffic light system is stuck on the pedestrian button light constantly on. Seems like a short circuit due to rain/ water ingress and may be an electrical hazard to the public

  • The crossing is continuing to go to the red light every few seconds even though there are no pedestrians in the area
