Shop building extension on pavement

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Overcrowding category anonymously at 18:39, Saturday 19 June 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2804297.

The shop owner of 309 Stanstead Road has today built a metal structure from their shop front, with posts in the pavement, extending about 2 metres onto the pavement, significantly narrowing the pavement and cramping the area round the bus stop. I don’t believe they have planning authority to do this on a public walkway and would be grateful if you could inspect the site.
