Recently replace Manhole cover makes an extremely loud noise every time it is driven over

The manhole cover on 20 northside Wandsworth common has been replaced recently but now every time a car drives over it, it makes an extremely loud noise. This happens every few seconds, all day and night. It is keeping everyone awake and is incredibly loud and repetitive.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
