Allows Drivers to turn Left when Pedestrian lights are green
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 13:21, Sat 26 June 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2819861.
The pedestrian crossing on Bobby Moore Way is very dangerous due to the lights on Colney Hatch Lane indicating for drivers to turn left whilst the lights at the crossing are red and pedestrians are shown the green man. Many drivers unfamiliar with the intersection assume that there wouldn't be further lights for them to observe barely 5 metres down the access road. Due to it being an access road for the North Circular Road, many drivers rush down and thus endanger the lives of pedestrians. I have personally almost been hit while crossing at this intersection.
