Blocked drain in underpass
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 12:35, Mon 28 June 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2823671.
The underpass regularly fills up with sludge which results in a blocked drain and then flooding after heavy rain. There is a leak whichis causing water to stream out of the wall and there are concerns over thei ntegrity of the structure. However, short term, the sludge needs to be cleared and REMOVED FROM THE SITE rather than dumped on the back nearby where it just washes back down into the underpass. The sludge is a major safety risk to cyclists and makes it impassable to wheelchairs, buggies and cyclists.
