Green Person Authority unecessary and poluting at this location

Reported via desktop in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 12:25, Sunday 1 August 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2905810.

Although this issue was reported in June 2021, and an explanation given, I would like to request reconsideration of the "Green Person Authority" setting at these lights. There are very few pedestrians using the crossing, but significant traffic flows (including deisel buses) that are forced to slow down, idle, stop and accelerate unecessarily, increasing brake, tyre and air pollution. For the very few pedestrians requiring this crossing, it would be sufficient to make the lights "on demand" for pedestrians, to enable traffice to pass freely and un-interruptedly otherwise.
