Good Morning
A local resident has contacted us regarding the condition of the footways on Sussex Gardens at the side of the Boots store, 175 Edgware Rd, W2 2HR. Our Highways team have confirmed this area is administered by Transport for London. Please see the customers full enquiry below for your reference:
I would like to inform you of the poor condition of the footpath area on Sussex Gdns on the side of Boots, Edgeware Rd, W2. There is a large tree in the middle of the footpath, the footpath is damaged and it seems work was done but never finished. There is a mix of asphalt and concrete, cracked and worn. The tree attracts pigeons and there are pigeon droppings all round the footpath where people need to walk. I have passed by on numerous occasions and the droppings have not been cleaned away...I would request you speak to planners and cleansing to find a way to improve this area and to clean it regularly. It is unsightly, bad for business and tourists and also a problem for residents who must use the footpath. Perhaps the tree could be felled or at least pruned. Please help, something needs to be done, I hope the different departments can work together on this.
