Manhole cover rocking

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2950699.

Manhole cover has a pothole growing around it causing it to rock. This issue was recently fixed (thank you), but unfortunately its back again. It is very noisy and as it gets worse it causes the building to vibrate. I’m not sure what the long term solution could be. The problem is in front of the old pub The Royal Oak, just by the loading bay.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date.   • The rocking is getting much worse and is a danger to cyclists.

  • This has got worse and worse. I checked here two weeks ago and saw that the complaint had already been raised so did not leave another. I live only a few meters away and it is impossible to sleep now as the buses physically rock the building. Further to the next door is the pub/hotel that i run and guests are paying to stay in a room meters away. Please could you update us on a timeline for repair?
