Road markings dangerous
Reported via desktop in the Worn out road markings category anonymously at 12:35, Mon 23 August 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2953016.
Signage and road markings on approach clearly indicate left lane for A21, right lane for A224/M25. However, angle of approach in left lane constantly directs traffic into the middle lane (not the outer lane) of the roundabout which cuts up traffic correctly positioned in the right lane of the approach. Hatchings on left side of the approach should be repositioned between the left and right lanes of the approach so that traffic in the left lane correctly goes into the outer lane of the roundabout and leaves traffic in the right lane of the approach to safely choose between the middle and inner lanes of the roundabout.
