A21 20mph

Reported via desktop in the Streetspace Feedback category by Sarah Bright at 11:41, Thursday 26 August 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2960118.

Https:// Your link shows the A21 Lewisham High Street is 20mph from Molesworth Street to the Catford One way system. You still have 30mph speed limit signs just before speed cameras in both directions. toward Catford Just after Lewisham Park Road. Towards Lewisham outside Kaleidoscope at the end of Hawstead Road. I have reported this many times to you and Lewisham Council and still nothing. There is much confusion in the local area as your signs have not been correct since the change in July 2020. As you can see from my e-mail I work of the DVSA my role is a driving examiner at Hither Green test centre. I am assessing candidates hourly on the local roads. PLEASE can you change the signs so there is NO question of our assessment and backed up completely by the correct signs. I am sure many of the candidates that have not been successful on the driving test because of the wrong signs have all complained to you already for failing the test. You can see the problem you are causing. I hope informing you in this way the signs will be changed as nothing has been done with my numerous reports over the last year. I have had to contact both Lewisham and Greenwich MP’s as other signs in the local area are wrong, or road markings faded.
