Pedestrian crossing over Philip Lane
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category by Philip Richards at 22:40, Friday 27 August 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2963607.
Please use Google Street View to familiarise yourself with the location. You'll be able to identify the 'Old Well easily as a circular structure with conical roof. The pedestrian crossing across Philip Lane between the 'Old Well' and Dominos Pizza has no green/red indicators. If crossing, the section between the 'Old Well' and island in the middle of Philip Lane, traffic turns into Philip Lane from both directions off Tottenham High Road. Pedestrians are not able to judge the road traffic lights on Tottenham High Road making crossing the section unsafe. Between the island to the pavement next to Dominos Pizzas is less of an issue as road traffic coming along Philip Lane can only turn left and is controlled by traffic lights.
I am making a formal request that a controlled pedestrian crossing is installed in place at this location. I request you to advise me with dates when this will be confirmed and installed. Should you wish to decline my request I will require you to provide me your reasons for this.
