Large loose manhole cover making loud noise every two seconds

There is a large manhole cover that is loose and making extreme noise. It has been ongoing for over a year and has not been fixed! The re is also a small drain hole on the same road that makes the same racket. This is a busy 4 lane road with constant heavy traffic, so the noise is unbearable. As residents we cannot sleep properly and is affecting us all. TFL staff at Vauxhall Station have also told me they have put in a complaint about the large manhole. Please can someone come out and fix this? It’s been over a year and we can’t take much more of this. I can see it’s been reported many times as well

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date.   • Today’s date: 4th October 2021 - I can confirm that the losse manhole cover as well as nearby lose drains have still not been looked at or repaired and are still making a lot of noise. You have stated this would be done within the 28days of your update however this has not been the case. Please can you provide a further update if and when possible please - in which this will be repaired.
