Standing water
Reported via desktop in the Standing water category anonymously at 15:05, Tue 14 September 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3000714.
Though you have marked this issue as completed standing water remains adjacent to the pedestrian crossing on The Highway at the end of Dellow Street. You have previously replaced the road gully grating but water stands in the road and across the crossing after rainfall. Time to dig out the gully and drain and ascertain why the gully doesn't drain at all? This has been reported several times in the last three years.

I can feel this needs to be URGENTLY fixed. Two manhole cover has become loose and every time a car’s tyre goes over it, it makes a significant noise furthermore the one net to the curb always floods on rainy days. This is affecting the quality of life for residents who live within 50 metres of the site. If the manhole cover becomes looser and blocked, this could possibly contribute to a road accident and so yes, in my opinion, it is a health and safety hazard. Kind regards,
