Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3018440.
On 31st August a member of public complained about the Streetspace Scheme on Euston Road: The Euston Rd scheme is a disaster.
Under an FOI request I have ascertained that traffic travels at 4mph.
This results in major inconvenience to essential healthcare workers, delays to emergency personnel and without tangible benefits.
The cycle lane is always empty.
I have previously complained to the Mayors office who say they are not responsible.
However the Mayors Office is claiming responsibility as they are on StreetSpace logo.
I am complaining that this is a badly designed scheme which is wasteful of public funds and prevents London from working.
More than this, I complain that the Mayors office refuse to accept responsibility whilst TfL only accept feedback and NOT complaints on the Streetspace website
Public accountability means listening and responding to complaints
