Pedestrian traffic lights are red for a long time

Reported via Android in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 00:26, Thursday 23 September 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3019183.

The traffic lights outside plumstead train station are stuck on red for the pedestrians even when the traffic light for cars is red for a while 2 min +. Which causes confusion for pedestrians crossing the road as this makes everyone cross the road on the red man whilst inconveniently looking at the car's traffic light to see if it's still red. Could TFL please upgrade these outdated traffic light systems which look like they have been installed during the 1990s.
