Rainwater flooding whenever it rains heavily
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 10:11, Tuesday 28 September 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3029282.
Outside the Premier Inn on Tower Bridge Rd (opposite no. 160 TBR) there is flooding in the road and pavement around the very large trees there every time it rains. There are two drains right there that could be blocked? This is still happening each time it rains hard and has happened again since it was reported as being fixed back in January/March 2021. Is this a danger to the traffic and passers-by regarding the stability of the trees and surrounding path and road? The road is dipping there and this could help the drainage but the drains there could be blocked causing this extensive flooding. Thanks and regards, Lin Browning

Hi, Following on from my contact with you from last week as above, the recent rain has flooded the same spot again, above the two drains sited outside the Premier Inn on Tower Bridge Rd. The drains must be blocked as each time it rains this section of road and pavement floods. Thanks, Lin Browning
