Frustrated drivers crash through lights stuck on red..Someone will get killed.

Reported via desktop in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 09:18, Thu 30 September 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3033426.

This morning the light sequence yet again was stuck on red for vehicles facing east, queuing on Balham Station road waiting to turn onto Bedford Hill. The lights stayed on red for three complete sequences between approx 0812 - 0818. I waited 6 minutes. This caused three vehicles to overtake and crash through the red lights to make the right turn onto Bedford Hill, nearly causing several accidents. I was second car in the queue so saw this very clearly. Someone will die if these light sequences are not fixed. This has happened on numerous occasions but I have never seen angry drivers simply ignore the lights and drive into oncoming traffic to get on with their journey. What are you going to do about it? It says "Fixed" on your many reports of the problem. It very clearly is not. Happy to speak to someone responsible.
