Every day I walk these lights and everyday when the filter lights turn right to go towards Epsom the pedestrian light to cross from the garden centre side to over to the jubilee way side go red. Most days I could film the cars do not stop at the red light as they assume there filter is green so they can go. I have nearly been run over 3/4 times. I now have to wait for the count down and risk running across the road. Yesterday a wheelchair user nearly got ran over as the cars went though the red lights. There are no cameras there or cctv so you can’t watch this.
A young boy was hit at the lights by tolworth station not long ago so these lights need to be adjusted. Why can’t the pedestrian light go when no cars are turning etc as it can’t stay how it is, I risk my life daily here and I’m becoming nervous of crossing here.
This issue has been going on for months and I’m getting more and more scared to cross. A red light camera needs to be here and also the next set of lights where this is a camera is this a red light camera? As I see cars Jump this and it does not go off? Perhaps it’s broken?
