Manhole causing buildings to shake
Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 10:42, Tue 5 October 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3042843.
Outside 17 Gunnersbury avenue, and surrounding properties, there are two maintenence/man hole covers on each side of the road which over time have been getting worse and worse in terms of traffic noise going over them. Heavy lorries constantly drive past making a huge thud and literally shaking the building so much that i can feel my bed shake and the pictures on the wall rattle. it is constant. day and night. i think they need fixing or the tarmac around them needs evening out. Has been reported under FMS2769354, stated it was fixed on streetcare but defintely not. It is getting worse and worse
